Ronald is the only Texan at boone steel LLC, and we’re happy he made it to Kentucky. After graduating high school in 1968, Ronald joined the army. When he got out of the army in 1971, Ronald went to work at the River Steel Corporation and worked his way up in the company to Plant Manager. He was one of the original River Steel employees who went on to form boone steel LLC in 1977. Ronald has worked with us since and brings a wealth of metal industry experience. Ronald is the proud father of two sons and is lucky enough to have two grandsons and three granddaughters. In his free time, Ronald likes to golf, travel and fish.
Denver Jackson was also one of the original employees of boone steel LLC. In 1969, Denver began working in steel in Cincinnati, Ohio as a warehouse man/truck driver. He continued this work until 1973, when he decided to move over to the old River Steel in Covington, Kentucky to be a driver for local and over the road deliveries. When the company was sold in 1977, Denver became one of the founding employees of boone steel LLC where he has worked in all areas of the steel business. In 1995 Denver moved over to a full time role in our sales department and is one of our most knowledgeable metal experts.
Sue is the newest member of the boone steel LLC sales team but certainly not new to the steel industry. After graduating from Miami University, she started her career in the steel industry. During those 11 years, she held a variety of sales positions, excelling in customer service ratings. Her knowledge is vast over many different product lines which enables her to effectively source all customer material requirements. After taking a few years off to become a “Home Engineer”, she re-enters the workforce with much enthusiasm and drive to ensure every customer’s needs are met. “I look forward to getting to know our customers and learning about their business in-depth so together we can make intellectual decisions on how to effectively manage their material requirements.”
